Since 1948, the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles (CRA/LA) has been Los Angeles' public partner in housing, commercial, neighborhood and economic development. CRA/LA is dedicated to revitalizing, refurbishing, and renewing economically undeserved areas of Los Angeles. CRA/LA seeks to hire a Housing Finance Officer for the South LA Region.

This individual will attract, encourage, and expedite new housing developments within and outside redevelopment project areas. Other responsibilities will include participating in financing arrangements for these developments, including the administration of Agency sponsored assistance, and promoting the achievement of the Agency's housing production goals, including increasing the City's low and moderate-income housing inventory.

Qualified candidates will have four years professional experience in real estate development, financing or specialized housing production work. Experience in real estate appraisals, economic research, or analysis of housing development proposals is preferred. Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in real estate, real estate law, finance, economics, planning or a closely related field. Additional graduate level course work in real estate, economics, planning and finance is desirable.
