Cannabis Talks: AAPIs in Cannabis
May 26, 2021 @ 11:30 am
| FreeThe recent rise in anti-AAPI hate incidents has spotlighted a part of the Asian American and Pacific Islander experience in America. In California, which has the largest AAPI population of any state, we face unique obstacles especially within the emergent cannabis industry. In addition to language and culture barriers, many AAPIs must combat the cannabis stigma that is prominent within their own families and communities.
Join the CalAsian Foundation, Eaze, and other leaders for a wide-reaching conversation on the AAPI experience in the cannabis industry. We’ll hear stories from successful AAPI leaders, discuss the immense opportunities within the sector, and talk about how we can unite to fight against anti-AAPI hate.
